You can also grow your own wheatgrass at home but you need to own a juicer that is made specifically for squeezing grass. Wheatgrass does not contain gluten.

Research on wheatgrass has been done since the 1930’s by the chemist, Dr.Charles Schnaber,  who began selling wheat grass powder in pharmacies across the United States and Canada. In the 50’s Anne Wigmore, a pioneer in nutrition and raw foods, created a diet in which wheat grass was a central component.
